The Final Destination
Is the movie title prominently featured? Yes

Is the text easy to read? Yes

Are the main actors shown? Yes

If so, which ones? The only visible sign of a character shown on the poster is a representation of death, but this can be seen as one of the main characters because ‘death’ is the main on this movie.

What is the design of the movie poster? Dark/Horror glass smashing shows violence.
Does it accurately reflect the mood and tone of the film? Yes

What other images are included? Skull/Reaper image shows the horror factor.

What do you notice about the framing of the images? White skull with black
background/ simple colours/ contrast of black and white/ dark colours.

What text is shown on the poster? The name of the movie and the release date for the movie and also the website for the movie.

Is there a catchy slogan? Yes

If so, what does it tell you about the movie's story? ‘Rest in Pieces’ shows death in the movie.

Is there any other important information included on the poster? The new line cinema logo, this is important because the distribution company are most likely to be the ones to have creative control over the director.

Why do/don't you think this movie poster is persuasive? I think this poster is persuasive because it doesn’t give away a lot about the movie. They haven’t included a lot of writing on the poster and the title of the movie isn’t in such a big font, which is useful because it doesn’t take the focus of the image/s on the poster.

My 'Little People Project' started in 2006. It involves the remodelling and painting of miniature model train set characters, which I then place and leave on the street. It is both a street art installation project and a photography project.

Camera obscura

Today we recreated the camera obscura using Pringles tubes. We first cut the end of the pringles tubes off and then covered the hole with tissue paper, sealed it with the Pringles cap then taped the longer part of the tube to the seal. Then we put a pin through the middle of the base of the tube.

Muybridge motion studies

Today we got four cameras and lined the front legs of the tripod's up to masking tape on the floor. then our glamorous model walked past each camera as we took a picture every time she steped on masking tape.
